Following the success of the recently-launched ZenFone Max Pro M2, ASUS is off to a great start this 2019, with the arrival of its smaller sibling, the ZenFone Max M2 – offering great performance and longevity, at an even more affordable price point.
The ZenFone Max M2 boasts a large 6.3-inch display with HD+ resolution, and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor which delivers up to 40% better CPU performance, and up to 10% improvement in graphics performance compared to the Snapdragon 626. There’s 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card.
For imaging, the device is equipped with a 13MP main rear camera, augmented by a 2MP depth sensor. The device can record videos in 4K, and features PDAF and 3-axis EIS. The 8MP front camera is also paired with an LED flash, and is used for facial recognition.
For an immersive listening experience, the ZenFone Max M2 uses a five-magnet speaker with a metal voice coil, driven by an NXP low-distortion smart amplifier, delivering crystal-clear sound that’s more powerful and detailed than before. It runs on stock Android 8.1 Oreo, and packs a 4,000mAh battery.
