Infinix has just introduced the Infinix GT 30 Pro, its latest smartphone built for mobile gamers, and announced it as the official smartphone for MPL Philippines Season 16, along with the XPAD GT.
The device comes with impressive features like an all-day 120FPS system, the capacitive GT Trigger buttons, and smooth visuals.
If you’re looking to get the Infinix GT 30 Pro as an everyday driver and a mobile gaming smartphone, here are some mobile games that you can dominate on.
I previously shared my first impressions on the GT 30 Pro; if you want to learn more about that, read it here.
Infinix GT 30 Pro – Games You Can Dominate
Infinix GT 30 Pro – A Rundown
Before I get to the games, of course, I’ll run you through the features and specs of the Infinix GT 30 Pro.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is built around a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel and now comes with a up to 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate. Which, based on our testing, reached a score of 1.2 million on the AnTuTu benchmark. It also reached almost 1.2K on the single-core and 3.8K on the multi-core tests of Geekbench 6.
The processor is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage. We were given the 12GB+512GB configuration, which is more than enough to have multiple games fully loaded. This includes the games I mention here and other games. These are joined by a pretty massive 5500mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is also equipped with a 108MP main rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 13MP front snapper. These are all pretty capable cameras, especially for those who want to keep their social media pages updated. Do tell us if you guys want a separate article with camera samples.

We also can’t forget the design, which is a mix of futuristic and gamer aesthetics. It also features the Mechanical Light Waves around the back, LED strips that double as a quick way to notify you on calls, notifications, and in-game highlights like securing kills, and more.

Infinix equipped the GT 30 Pro with other software and hardware features that are more gamer-centric. These include the capacitive GT Trigger buttons, Esports Mode, Bypass Charging, and AI Magic Box (available in other games like Genshin Impact).

GT Trigger is very helpful as a mobile gamer in his 30s. It is not only customizable, but it also gives console-like controls. Esports Mode, on the other hand, boosts the performance of the device as well as blocks notifications, which I toggled on during the heated moments of my gaming sessions to help me focus.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
The first game on the list, unsurprisingly, is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. As the official smartphone of MPL Philippines Season 16, dominating while using the device is all but expected.
The Infinix GT 30 Pro can run at the highest graphical quality, and this includes Ultra Map quality, Ultra frame rates, and HD resolution. While you don’t necessarily get to maximize the graphical settings in Mobile Legends as you would in games like Genshin Impact or similar titles, these are very much welcome as it makes it easier to play.

Couple these settings with Performance mode to boost performance, Esports Mode for extra focused gaming sessions, and the GT Trigger, it’s quite the recipe for domination.
For the GT Trigger buttons, I opted to have my auto attacks on the right trigger and turned off the left trigger. But, you can easily map left trigger for minion/creep targeting or turret targeting.I tried using it for abilities, but with the different heroes I use, I found it inefficient.
Honor of Kings
Next up is Honor of Kings, another MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) title. If you prefer this over Mobile Legends: Bang Bang or just play both, you can rest easy that it is also optimized for the Infinix GT 30 Pro.

Yes, this means you can play at the game’s Max FPS setting and Ultra Resolution setting with ease. Let’s not forget Esports Mode, Performance Mode, and the GT Trigger turned on via the X Boost window.
My GT Triggerr set up for HONOR of Kings is pretty much identical to Mobile Legends, mainly used to attack with the right trigger. As a newbie to the game, I enjoy using the Farm Lane heroes like Hou Yi, Erin, and Alessio.
Call of Duty Mobile
With MOBAs out of the way, we move on to FPS titles, and the first is Call of Duty Mobile. The high-octane shooter can get pretty hectic, and the 144Hz refresh rate helps you see movement so much quicker.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro easily manages the shooter even at Very High Graphic Quality and Max Frame Rate across the plethora of game modes. Personally, I solely play Frontline Multiplayer because of how quick it is.
This is where I start to change my GT Trigger mapping,g though. I keep the right trigger on the shoot button, which is basically the attack button in MOBAs, but now I have the left trigger on reload. This setup is ideal for me, because I sometimes run out of bullets because I don’t get to the reload button fast enough. But if you don’t have this problem, I can see it being mapped to help you activate your abilities.
PUBG Mobile
The last on this list is PUBG Mobile. It is a shooter, like Call of Duty Mobile, but it varies from the Ranked and Frontline game modes, as PUBG Mobile is a Battle Royale. A large map wherein you drop in and try to be the last team/person standing.

PUBG Mobile maxes out at HDR Graphics and Ultra Frame Rate. HDR isn’t quite the maximum for its graphics as Ultra HDR and Extreme HDR are listed, but Ultra HDR is said to be coming soon for the Infinix GT 30 Pro, and Extreme HDR is coming soon altogether.
That said, I was still able to enjoy the graphical fidelity of the title from these settings all while getting smooth gameplay.
My GT Trigger mapping was pretty identical to Call of Duty Mobile, with the right trigger on shoot and the left on reload. Yes, being in my 30s drastically comes into play when button mapping is concerned. However, I think another option I tried is having the left trigger on healing items so you can top up after a fight quicker.

Of course, these are some titles that maximize the features of the Infinix GT 30 Pro. But you can easily enjoy more single-player games like Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero, albeit at lower settings, especially for heavier titles like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves.

Playing these also unlocks the previously AI Magic Box, which simplifies things like picking up loot and going through dialogue with NPCs.

- 8GB+256GB (Shadow Ash and Blade White) – PHP 13,999
