IQUNIX is preparing the EV63 EDG Edition, a Hall Effect gaming keyboard developed with EDward Gaming, the VALORANT team that won Champions in 2024. The IQUNIX EV63 EDG Edition becomes the sixth colorway in the EV63 family, joining the Violet, Silver Knight, Dark Knight, and two Ghost in the Shell variants already listed on the IQUNIX store.
IQUNIX has not announced a price or a release date, and describes the status of the keyboard only as coming soon. The EDG Edition follows the EV63 Ghost in the Shell Edition and the EC75, both of which launched earlier this year.

Built for competition, tuned with EDG
The EV63 platform is already used by professional VALORANT squads, including EDward Gaming, Wolves Esports, and MIBR, along with players such as Grim, Fyr, gokedTV, Subroza, Fugu, and Hiko.
For this edition, IQUNIX and EDG went through five rounds of joint tuning centered on real gameplay, with consistency treated as being as important as raw speed. The company says the work answered the demands of competitive play rather than a shelf of raw numbers.

TSS syncs input processing with the USB polling cycle
The new Timing Synchronization System, or TSS, aligns keyboard input processing with the USB polling cycle of the connected PC. In practice, that means fewer timing mismatches between the keyboard and the rest of the chain.
IQUNIX says the goal is a more consistent response and more predictable input when a match turns on a split-second decision, which is the claim the tuning work rests on.
HyperCore V3.1 and the latency figures
The board carries HyperCore V3.1 firmware, and IQUNIX reports actuation latency of 0.29 to 0.30 milliseconds and release latency of 0.26 to 0.27 milliseconds.
Fast actuation starts an input, while a precise release matters just as much for counter-strafing, direction changes, and repeated presses. The company says both figures were measured across multiple latency test scenarios.
Rounding out the input chain are an 8,000 Hz polling rate, 16,000 Hz scanning, and a 0.01 mm Rapid Trigger, the combination the IQUNIX EV63 EDG Edition leans on for fine control in shooters.
Gamepad Mode turns key presses into analog input
Not every game is built around an input that is either on or off. Gamepad Mode lets keypress depth translate into different levels of input inside supported titles.
That means a player can ease into a throttle, vary movement speed, or fine-tune directional input through the keyboard, without reaching for a separate controller.
Smart Switch Adaptation and Magnetic X Ultra
Swapping switches on a Hall Effect board has usually meant matching profiles by hand. Smart Switch Adaptation recognizes 99 percent of mainstream Hall Effect switches automatically, which IQUNIX says simplifies compatibility.
The keyboard also pairs with Magnetic X Ultra switches, designed for stronger magnetic flux and improved signal stability, which the company frames as the foundation for dependable control.
A black and gold package built around EDG history
The EDG identity runs across the keycaps and the printed details on the case. The package carries a star emblem marking the VALORANT Champions 2024 victory and a commemorative keycap for the 2026 VCT CN Stage 1 regional title.
Two CNC-machined metal keycaps arrive with enamel detailing and gold accents, and soft-touch frosted PC keycaps add a different surface feel. Six player cards cover the 2026 league season.
Raised signature keycaps carry dimensional player details that can be seen and felt. IQUNIX frames the board as a competitive tool and a collectible for EDG fans at the same time.
Availability and the wider EV63 family
Pricing and a release date are still to be confirmed, and IQUNIX describes the launch window only as coming soon. The company has not shared regional availability or Philippine pricing, so local buyers will have to wait for a launch window to be confirmed.
The standard EV63 Hall Effect Keyboard is the model this edition is built on, and the lineup already covers five colorways, with the EDG release set to become the sixth.
IQUNIX builds each keyboard from an aluminum body, a habit that earned the company the Aluminum Factory nickname among enthusiasts.
Esports competition has kept the EV63 in front of professional players, and the wider scene stays busy through events such as the Esports World Cup 2026.
The official EV63 product page and the HyperCore V3 firmware notes carry the platform details behind the IQUNIX EV63 EDG Edition.
