HoYoverse recently announced the 2nd closed beta test for its urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero. The second closed beta test comes with a series of changes and content updates including new stories, more playable characters, re-designed combat mechanics, and more.

What is Zenless Zone Zero?
It is a new urban fantasy ARPG by HoYoverse set in the city of New Eridu. The city has risen against the odds of an overwhelming calamity by harnessing the technology and resources necessary to combat the Hollow disaster.
You will take on the role of a Proxy – a professional specialized in guiding people in their exploration of Hollows. This will take you on an adventure with a group of unique companions to conquer enemies and unravel the mysteries behind the city.
What’s new in Zenless Zone Zero 2nd Closed Beta?
The latest beta players will be able to explore a new story chapter that centers on Belobog Heavy Industries – one of the major factions in the game.
You will also be able to probe into the Proxy Network known as Inter-Knot thanks to a series of immersive urban gameplay mechanics added. This will let you take unusual commissions or play arcade games with friends, pet loveable animals, and roam around Sixth Street.
New Eridu will be further revamped with a visual update based on the previous beta. Its tracklist will also be more modern, vibrant, and groovy.
Additionally, three new characters will be coming to New Erido to team up with you, each with their own unique backgrounds and charms.
The latest closed beta will also introduce a newly developed challenge mode Hollow Zero.
