OPPO is bringing the OPPO A7 Pro 5G to the Philippines, and the company is aiming it at Filipinos whose current phone still works but no longer keeps up. The teaser OPPO sent to media this week leans on three things: a 50MP selfie camera with AI editing tools, an 8,000mAh battery, and a durability package the company says is built to last years.

OPPO has not announced a Philippine price or release date. The hardware itself is already final elsewhere, so what is still open is how the local variant will be configured and what it will cost here.
A 50MP selfie camera with AI editing tools
The headline feature is the 50MP Ultra-Wide AI Zoom Selfie Camera. OPPO’s global spec sheet lists a 100-degree field of view, an f/2.1 aperture and autofocus on the front camera, which helps with group shots and with framing at arm’s length.
Around the back, a 50MP main camera at f/1.9 with autofocus is paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor. OPPO is also bundling two AI tools: AI Remix Collage for mixing shots into layouts, and AI Popout, which lifts a subject off its background.

OPPO A7 Pro 5G battery and durability claims
The 8,000mAh cell is the other selling point. OPPO says it is rated for up to six years of durable battery performance, and its global listing puts charging at 45W SUPERVOOC. That capacity points to two-day use for most people, though endurance figures come from controlled tests and vary with real use.

OPPO also claims IP69K water and dust resistance and military-grade shock resistance, a pairing that is still uncommon in the A Series’ price band. The phone carries OPPO’s 5-Year Smoothness Protection claim as well, alongside a NetworkBoost Chip S1 for connectivity and a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that runs up to 120Hz. A MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max sits at the core.
Philippine price and availability
The A7 Pro 5G does not appear on OPPO Philippines’ A Series page yet, and no local SRP has been shared. OPPO has listed it in Shine Titanium, Surfing Blue and Bloom Pink on its global site, but Philippine colorways and memory variants are unconfirmed.
The phone has already gone on sale in Gulf markets, where the 6GB+128GB model is priced at AED 1,449. For scale, OPPO’s A6 Pro 5G arrived in the Philippines at PhP 13,999 for 6GB+128GB and PhP 18,999 for 8GB+256GB in November 2025. Where the A7 Pro 5G lands against that bracket depends on the local configuration OPPO chooses.
OPPO says more details will be shared through its Philippine website and social channels.
