Infinix took its GT gaming ecosystem to Metro Manila for the GT NXperience: Media & Fans Gathering, an event built around hands-on play rather than a slide deck.
What the Infinix GT NX Controller and GT NX Station Offer
The gathering ran on October 9 at the NAOS Esports Arena in DoubleDragon Plaza, Pasay City. It brought together media partners, creators, and fans for an evening of interactive stations and a friendly Fans versus Media challenge, rather than a formal presentation.
During the product talk, Willy Lloyd Cruz, Community Manager of Infinix Philippines, introduced both devices. “The GT NX Controller offers up to 22 hours of playtime and features Split Controller Mode, allowing players to share the experience with friends and family,” he said.
He added that the GT NX Station supports screen extension and mirroring for a larger setup, alongside an industry-first built-in TEC cooling system designed to manage heat during longer sessions. The Infinix GT NX Controller, for its part, centers on a pixel-level FPS touchpad.
A Night of Stations and Challenges
Guests rotated through three stations across the evening. At the first, they played Blood Strike on the GT 50 Pro paired with the GT NX Controller. The second hosted a BombSquad 1v1 challenge built on timing and quick reactions. The third connected the GT NX Station to a television for Beach Buggy Racing.
The setup turned a product demonstration into something closer to a test of coordination. A mistimed input can interrupt the flow of a match, which is where the controller’s added control surface and the station’s bigger screen are meant to help players keep the action in view.
The main GT NXperience 1v1 Challenge placed four randomly selected fans against four media participants. After competing in BombSquad and Beach Buggy Racing, the champion left with an Infinix GT 50 Pro, a GT NX Controller, and a GT NX Station.
Beyond the competition, guests moved through a photobooth and a customizable fidget-clicker station. A raffle also gave attendees a shot at GT NX shirts and jackets, GT Buds 5, GT Watch 5 Pro, and GT NX sets pairing the GT 50 Pro with the two new accessories.
Availability and Pricing
Both devices are sold through Infinix’s official Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop channels. Infinix did not disclose Philippine pricing at the event. Full specifications for the Infinix GT NX Controller are listed on the brand’s official website.
