MSI opened preorders for the Prestige N16 Flip AI on October 7 through MSI-certified partners in selected markets, putting its first NVIDIA RTX Spark laptop on sale alongside the machines Microsoft showed the same day.

The company billed it as the only 2-in-1 convertible in the first announced wave of RTX Spark Windows laptops, which is the detail that separates it from the Surface Laptop Ultra and the refreshed models from Lenovo, Dell and HP.

What the Prestige N16 Flip AI+ runs on

RTX Spark is the superchip NVIDIA built with MediaTek, pairing an NVIDIA Grace CPU with a Blackwell RTX GPU and one pool of memory shared between them. On NVIDIA’s own product page the platform is rated for up to a 6,144-core Blackwell RTX GPU, up to a 20-core Grace CPU, up to one petaflop of FP4 AI performance and up to 128GB of unified memory.

MSI’s product page for the C1XMX lists the same ceilings, ships with Windows 11 Pro or Home, and carries the Copilot+ PC badge. The emphasis throughout is on running agents and models on the machine rather than in a datacenter, which is why MSI leans on CUDA compatibility so readily: the same software stack used to train and serve models elsewhere runs natively here.

The convertible part is the differentiator

MSI pairs the chip with a 16-inch UHD+ Tandem OLED touchscreen on a 360-degree hinge, and ships an MSI Nano Pen in the box. The machine works in laptop, tablet, tent and presentation positions, which matters for the sketching and annotation work a pen unlocks rather than for the spec sheet.

Elsewhere it carries an MSI Action Touchpad with a surface 53 percent larger than its predecessor, an SD card reader, quad-speaker audio and a vapour chamber cooler with what MSI calls Intra Flow. Power comes from a 99.9Wh battery, the largest capacity airlines allow in carry-on.

NVIDIA pitches the platform for creators as much as developers, so the machine also gets NVIDIA Studio support plus ray tracing, DLSS and Reflex for games. MSI notes the system supports Arm-native applications and runs the rest of the Windows catalogue through emulation.

The preorder promo runs from October 16

The fine print is more concrete than the launch, at least in the US. According to the promotion terms, MSI’s early bird offer runs from October 16 at 5AM Pacific through December 31, 2026, while stocks last, and is worth up to $240. Buyers must register the unit, submit proof of purchase and photograph the serial number label on the device itself. A photo of the retail box will not be accepted, and redemptions close on January 14, 2027.

That October 16 date lines up with the rest of the RTX Spark wave, which ships the same day.

What MSI has not said, and availability in the Philippines

MSI has not published a price for this machine. The figure circulating online is unconfirmed, and it is worth separating this laptop from a similarly named one: the Prestige 16 Flip AI+ is a different model built on Intel Core Ultra silicon, and that is the one already carrying a Philippine price of PhP99,995.

No Philippine pricing or release date has been announced for the RTX Spark version. We have followed the RTX Spark rollout locally and local pricing has consistently arrived much closer to launch than the US figure.

We covered the unveiling at Computex in June, when MSI showed the machine alongside a refreshed Katana gaming line. What changed this week is simply that it can now be ordered, with a firm date attached.
