When the rainy season settles in, managing indoor humidity becomes an everyday concern for many Filipino households. LG Philippines says its dehumidifier sales are on track to increase fivefold during the monsoon season, as more consumers turn to dedicated moisture control for their homes.
The LG PuriCare Dehumidifier lineup offers models with dehumidification capacity of up to 40 liters per day, covering spaces as large as 120 square meters. At the core of the appliance is LG’s Dual Inverter Compressor, which balances powerful moisture removal with energy-efficient operation.
Smart features for everyday use
The dehumidifier includes a Smart+ Mode that automatically detects the current humidity level and adjusts fan speed and compressor operation accordingly, reducing the need for constant manual adjustments. Through the LG ThinQ app, users can also control the unit remotely, monitor energy consumption, set on-and-off schedules, and receive alerts when the water bucket is full or when humidity spikes.
Beyond room dehumidification, the appliance supports focused drying tasks. Included Y-hose and T-hose attachments allow users to dry shoes, closets, drawers, and other enclosed areas. A continuous drainage option is also available, eliminating the need to repeatedly empty the bucket.
Air care beyond moisture removal
LG has equipped the PuriCare Dehumidifier with a washable and reusable pre-filter, along with UVnano technology that uses UVC LED to remove 99.99% of harmful bacteria and viruses that collect on the fan blades. These features add a layer of air care for spaces that tend to stay closed during rainy weather.
The unit includes 360-degree caster wheels, a slim profile, and a hidden handle and cord storage, making it easy to move between rooms and store when not in use. LG previously shared other promotions including discounts on PuriCare appliances during its 11.11 sale event.

The LG PuriCare Dehumidifier is available at LG.com/ph, LG Official Stores on Shopee and Lazada, and authorized dealers nationwide. LG has not yet disclosed local pricing.
