Google has just announced that it will expand the AI Mode in Search to more people around the world. It brings agentic capabilities and personalized responses to Search.

Google – AI Mode in Search

AI Mode in Search now has new agentic capabilities that can help you get things done quicker. This includes adding multiple constraints and preferences in things like dinner reservations. An example is asking Search for restaurant suggestions that fit certain preferences like party size, date, time, location, and preferred cuisine.

From there, it can link you directly to the booking page so you can finalize your reservation faster.

AI Mode uses the live web browsing capabilities of Project Mariner to help you take action on the web. Moreover, Google has partnered with OpenTable, Resy, Tock, Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, Booksy, and more to make it possible.

The new agentic experience is rolling out for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the US through Agentic capabilities in AI Mode experiment in Labs.

AI Mode experiment in Labs in the US also shows results tailored to your personal preferences and interests based on previous conversations or previous searches in both Search and Maps.

Moreover, in the US, these can now be shared to family and friends thanks to a Share button. This will allow contacts to jump into the AI Mode response and ask follow-up questions and explore on their own.

Google is rolling out the AI Mode in Search starting today in the US, India, the UK, and over 180 new countries and territories in English.
