Among the more unusual sights on the Tokyo Game Show 2026 show floor: holographic figures inside a box, the kind of display that stops people mid-walk. Gadget Pilipinas spotted the unit and filmed it.
What is on show is Gatebox 3, the next-generation version of the Gatebox, a hologram display designed so you can put your own AI assistant inside it. Instead of a character living on a screen or in a chat window, the idea is a presence you can see inside the unit.
