team17 Tokyo Game Show 2026 plans now include two playable co-op titles on the show floor, with What Goes Up and Greak 2: Alliance of the Storms both running demos at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to 21. The publisher announced the lineup on Monday, 14 September, ahead of the show’s five-day run.
Both titles sit under the team17 Tokyo Game Show 2026 booth with Kakehashi in Hall 2, booth number 02-C18, so attendees can move between the two demos in one stop.
What Goes Up gets its first public hands-on
What Goes Up is a physics-based, 1-4 player co-op puzzle game from Bossa Games, the London studio behind Surgeon Simulator and I Am Fish. The TGS build is the first time the public can play it, and team17 is bringing two demo stations to the floor so singleplayer and multiplayer groups can each take a turn.
The demo covers five full levels. Players work for GALACTIC REFUSE CO, clearing junk off alien planets and stacking it into towers tall enough to reach a recovery ship above. Along the way they dodge slow-moving lava and meteor showers, and earn character cosmetics from the company’s reward pool.
What Goes Up comes to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 later this year. team17 has not announced a Philippine release date or local pricing yet.
Greak 2 demo runs 10 minutes of hand-drawn co-op
Greak 2: Alliance of the Storms cuts its TGS demo to about 10 minutes. Players take control of siblings Greak and Adara, in co-op or solo, as they cross parallel dimensions and solve puzzles together. The sequel launches in 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
Navegante, the Mexico-based studio behind the multi-award-winning Greak: Memories of Azur, returns for the sequel. This time the siblings are split across two realities of the land of Synoraz, each able to interact with objects and enemies the other cannot, and the story tasks them with saving the last Storm Egg from extinction. No pricing has been announced for either platform.
