Google has announced a major expansion to its Gemini AI ecosystem, introducing a new wave of connected apps designed to enhance productivity, creativity, and daily lifestyle tasks. The rollout, which began today, allows users to integrate popular third-party services directly into their conversations with the AI chatbot.
Google Gemini Expands Ecosystem
Connected apps enable users to access external services without leaving the AI’s interface. Instead of opening a new tab to find event tickets or manage a work project, users can simply prompt the chatbot to handle these tasks seamlessly.
The latest additions to the Gemini platform span three distinct categories:
- Productivity: Airtable, Linear, monday.com, PandaDoc, Wispr AI, and Zoho.
- Creativity: Adobe, Picsart, Squarespace, and Webflow.
- Lifestyle: Apartments.com, Experian, Peloton, and SeatGeek.
This update follows a recent integration of services like iHeartRadio and Ticketmaster, demonstrating Google’s ongoing push to make its AI platform a comprehensive, all-in-one digital assistant.
How to connect?
Users can link these newly supported services by navigating to Gemini’s settings, using an “@” mention in their chat prompts, or directly asking the chatbot to connect to a specific app.
