The FUJINON XF400mm F4.5 R LM OIS WR, like the other FUJINON lenses, this new lens is designed for the FUJIFILM X Series of mirrorless digital cameras. It is a super-telephoto option with a 400mm focal length, equivalent to about 609mm.

The new lens weighs approximately 1,245 grams, and it is designed to be more manageable for outdoor activities. Meanwhile, the f/4.5 aperture helps separate subjects from busy backgrounds. It also has optical stabilization of up to 5.5 stops, helping reduce camera shake when shooting handheld.
Additionally, it features weather-resistant sealing at 20 points and is designed to operate in temperatures as low as -10°C. With a weather-resistant FUJIFILM X Series camera body, it offers added confidence when shooting in challenging conditions.

The FUJINON XF400mm F4.5 expands the company’s super-telephoto lineup, joining the XF200mm F2 and the XF500mm F5.6.
The XF400mm F4.5 R LM OIS WR helps nature and sports photographers alike. It brings distant subjects closer within the frame while maintaining a respectful distance from their subjects and retaining the details.

For nature photographer Vince Averia, photographing birds requires an understanding of their behavior and the ability to anticipate movements.

“Bird photography requires patience and a keen eye for detail. You have to observe your surroundings and be ready to capture a moment that may only last a few seconds. Having the right lens makes a difference, as it allows you to photograph birds from a distance while preserving the details that make each shot special,” shared Averia.
The FUJINON XF400mm F4.5 R LM OIS WR is now available in the Philippines for PHP 185,990.
