Apple’s September event wrapped up with one of the biggest product waves in years: a first-ever foldable iPhone, a new Pro lineup, two new Apple Watches, and a new set of AirPods. iPhone Duo: the foldable is here
The headline was the iPhone Duo, Apple’s first foldable iPhone. Opened, its 7.6-inch display is the largest ever on an iPhone; closed, it is a passport-sized device with a 5.4-inch screen. It is built from grade 5 titanium with a 100-plus-component hinge, runs the A20 Pro with a dual-battery setup, and starts at $1,999 (US), with pre-orders October 16 and availability October 23 in more than 70 countries.
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
For most buyers, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max remain the main event, from $1,199 and $1,299. Both bring a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, the A20 Pro, and the biggest battery gains in iPhone history, led by the Pro Max’s up to 45 hours of video playback. Pre-orders opened September 12, with availability September 18.
Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4
Both new watches, the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, share the new Health Sensing System and S11 chip, which Apple says deliver the most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable, plus a readiness score, HRV sampled up to 24 times more often, and Audio Intelligence features later this year. Series 12 starts at $399 and adds a ceramic edition; Ultra 4 starts at $799 and stretches outdoor tracking to 45 hours.
AirPods 5
Rounding out the lineup, AirPods 5 bring best-in-class open-ear Active Noise Cancellation to Apple’s most affordable AirPods, removing up to 50 percent more noise than AirPods 4 with ANC. They add Siri AI support, Live Translation, and five hours of playback with ANC, from $129, with availability September 18.
Running through the entire Apple September event is the same silicon story: the A20 Pro and S11 chips, iOS 27 with Apple Intelligence, and Siri AI arriving as a beta September 14. Philippine pricing is already up on Apple’s local store: the iPhone Duo from PhP159,990, the iPhone 18 Pro from PhP94,990, the Apple Watch Series 12 from PhP28,990, the Apple Watch Ultra 4 from PhP59,990, and AirPods 5 at PhP9,490. Carrier and reseller availability will follow each local rollout.
