A 174-inch screen with no projector and no wall is the pitch behind the VITURE Beast. It is a pair of glasses that puts a large virtual display in front of your eyes and takes the picture from whatever you plug into it.

The Beast is the third-generation flagship in VITURE’s line. This is a walkthrough of what it does and the parts worth understanding before deciding whether a wearable screen fits how you work or play.

Where the Beast sits in the lineup

VITURE positions the Beast at the top of its range, built to be the largest and boldest pair it makes. According to IDC shipment figures cited by VITURE, the company ranks as a leading XR glasses brand in the United States, and the Beast is the model that carries the widest specifications of the family.

It is available officially in the Philippines through Digital Walker at PhP39,999, and in the United States it starts at $549.

The VITURE Beast display

The headline on the VITURE Beast is the screen. Two Sony Micro-OLED panels, one per eye, at 1920 by 1200 each, which VITURE combines into a 3840 by 1200 canvas. The virtual image measures 174 inches at four meters away.

The field of view is 58 degrees, the widest VITURE has put in a pair of glasses, and refresh goes up to 120Hz. Brightness is rated up to 1,250 nits, which is the figure that matters outdoors, with contrast at 100,000 to 1 and color coverage at 108% sRGB.

There is a physical change too. The Beast moves from birdbath optics to flat prism lenses, and that is how VITURE fit a wider field of view into a slimmer frame.

Nine levels of dimming

Rather than a fixed tint or a snap-on shade, the VITURE Beast builds a 9-level electrochromic film into the lenses. It ranges from fully transparent, where you still see the room around you, to dark enough that the screen is all you see. The film also transitions automatically as the light changes.

VITURE describes automatic dimming at this level as an industry first since its own SpaceWalker. In practice it removes the accessory a lot of display glasses still ask you to carry for daylight use.

3DoF built into the glasses

The Beast carries built-in 3DoF tracking, which VITURE calls VisionPair, and the important word is built-in. Tracking runs on the glasses themselves rather than on a phone or laptop, so there is no companion app and no dongle in between.

That produces screen modes controlled from the glasses. Body anchor pins the screen in place so you can look around it. Smooth follow lets the screen drift with your head. UltraWide stretches the canvas to 32:9. Side Mode moves the screen off to one side so the area in front of you stays visible, and VITURE says this works even with the phone closed, so it can be used while walking. There is also smart re-centering.

Audio

Sound comes from HARMAN, tuned under its AudioEFX branding, with spatial sound and 3DoF audio that follows the screen rather than your head. A built-in microphone handles calls without extra hardware, and volume runs 16 levels on the glasses.

The frame and the controls

The Beast uses a full metal frame in aluminum and magnesium, at 88 grams in the regular size and 90 grams in the large. Two sizes exist because interpupillary distance varies: regular fits 64 millimeters plus or minus six, and large fits 68 plus or minus six.

The arms tilt, the nose pads are magnetic, and VITURE includes a prescription lens frame. The case comes in around 286 grams.

Controls live on the glasses. Buttons along the temple handle navigation, brightness in nine steps, volume and the on-screen display, so settings do not require reaching for a phone.

What it connects to

The VITURE Beast connects over a single USB-C cable, and anything with USB-C display output works. That covers iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, the Switch 2, Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and PS5 or Xbox through an HDMI adapter. The basics need no app at all.

A few capabilities are worth flagging. Real-time 2D-to-3D conversion is built in, so flat video can be converted on the glasses. Multi-window works on mobile, including iPhone, without an adapter. VITURE also lists mixed-reality capture and basic 6DoF sensing, both arriving through a software update after launch.

The glasses draw power over USB-C from the device you connect, so there is no separate battery in the frame.

The ecosystem around it

VITURE sells the pieces that extend the Beast. The Mobile Dock adds HDMI input and co-op play for two pairs of glasses. The Pro Neckband adds a wearable Android computer with cloud streaming, so a phone or laptop is not required at all.

Both paths carry bundles. The Cloud Pack pairs the Beast with the Pro Neckband at $877, and the Ultimate Collection adds the Pro Mobile Dock plus a VITURE and 8BitDo controller at $976. Both come in under the cost of the parts bought separately, and both figures are US pricing.

Three things to know before buying

First, resolution. The panels are 1200p, and VITURE has said full 1200p output arrives through firmware. If you buy early, check which resolution the unit is actually running rather than assuming the panel specification.

Second, text. Brightness and color are the strong points. For someone reading dense text all day, a wearable display is still a compromise next to a monitor. Video and games are where this category performs best.

Third, the cost lives in the ecosystem. The dock and the neckband are separate purchases, and they are what turn the glasses into a standalone setup rather than an accessory for a phone.

Price and availability

The VITURE Beast is PhP39,999 through Digital Walker in the Philippines, and $549 in the United States. The Mobile Dock and Pro Neckband are sold separately, along with the Cloud Pack and Ultimate Collection bundles listed above. Full specifications are listed on VITURE’s official site.

The category is moving quickly, as our report on the AR smart glasses market and our coverage of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Reality Elite both show, and the Beast is aimed squarely at that widening field.

The Beast makes its case on brightness, field of view and dimming rather than on app ecosystem or standalone capability. For readers who want a large screen they can carry without a monitor or a projector, that trade-off is the whole product.
