At Php1,199, the nubia 80W Three-Port GaN Quick Charger is the kind of charging accessory that makes sense for anyone carrying more than one device. It pairs an 80W maximum output with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port, giving you a compact way to charge a phone, tablet, wireless accessories, or laptop from one wall outlet.
One charger, three devices
The practical appeal here is consolidation. Rather than bringing a separate phone brick, laptop adapter, and spare USB-A charger when travelling or heading to a shoot, this nubia unit can handle a mixed-device setup in one compact block.
nubia’s NeoCharger 3.0 system identifies supported charging protocols and manages power allocation between connected devices. The company says it monitors power use continuously and adjusts allocation every three minutes, helping the charger provide the appropriate output as device needs change.
That matters when all three ports are occupied. A charger’s headline wattage is only part of the story; intelligent distribution is what makes a multi-port charger useful in the real world. You can plug in a phone, a tablet, and a power bank or camera accessory without needing to guess which port will deliver compatible fast charging.
Fast charging beyond nubia
The charger supports QC, PD, FCP, and AFC fast-charging protocols, with stated compatibility across brands including iPhone, Huawei, Xiaomi, and Samsung. It can provide 80W charging for compatible nubia and REDMAGIC devices, including the nubia Z70 Ultra and REDMAGIC 8 Pro through 9S Pro series.
nubia cites charging examples of approximately 40 minutes for a REDMAGIC 8 Pro, 60 percent for an iPhone 15 in the first 30 minutes, and around 120 minutes for a MacBook Air 13. Real results will vary by device, battery condition, cable, charging standard, and whether other ports are in use, but the figures show the charger is intended for more than just phones.
The package also includes a 100W data cable, which is important. Many budget chargers ship with no cable at all, leaving buyers to source one that can safely carry the required power.
Safety without compromise
GaN, short for gallium nitride, lets charging hardware operate more efficiently in a smaller package than many traditional silicon designs. nubia describes this charger as smaller, lighter, faster, and better able to manage temperature than conventional alternatives.
More importantly, the charger is built with a broad protection set: short-circuit, temperature, reset, overcurrent, input and output overvoltage, charge/discharge, and hardware-detection protection. These safeguards are not a substitute for using good cables and avoiding damaged outlets, but they are exactly what should be expected from a charger that may power several costly devices at once.
The transparent cyberpunk-inspired enclosure gives it a bit more personality than the usual anonymous charging brick, but the real selling point is value.
