Google is gearing up for its launch event on August 12 in New York, where it is set to unveil “the next generation of Pixel.” Fans can expect five major announcements, headlined by the new Google Pixel 11 series and Pixel Watch 5.
Google Pixel 11 Details
The standard Pixel 11 is rumored to introduce “Pixel Glow”, a customizable rear notification light, alongside the new Tensor G6 chipset, a 50MP camera, and an upgraded M16 OLED display.
In addition, the premium Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL will likely share these upgrades while adding two new camera sensors and faster 45W charging. Additionally, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is expected to debut, with rumors hinting at a potential removable battery.
Wearables will also be unveiled with the Pixel Watch 5, which reportedly swaps Snapdragon for a custom Tensor chip to deliver slimmer bezels and optimized battery life.
However, these features may come at a premium. Leaks indicate a price increase across the Pixel 11 lineup, partly driven by the elimination of the 128GB baseline storage in favor of a 256GB minimum.
