Fujifilm Philippines has launched the Fujifilm X-E5, a new mirrorless camera. The camera’s design is a blend of retro and modern elements, featuring analog controls and a classic aesthetic. Fujifilm also partnered with Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Quezon City to showcase the latest Fujifilm X-E5 camera with the backdrop of historical, classical Filipino design.
Design and Features
The X-E5 has an aluminum top plate with an anodized finish. It includes a new Film Simulation dial with a precision-cut indicator window. This dial’s positions can be customized to store and access individual film recipes and image quality settings. The viewfinder and diopter adjustment are integrated into the camera body. A Bluetooth button, located on the base plate, is styled to resemble a vintage film camera’s rewind button.
The camera is equipped with a five-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) system, an X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, and an X-Processor 5. The X-Processor 5 uses deep-learning AI for subject detection and focus. The X-E5 also offers 20 Film Simulation modes.
Additional features include a Classic Display mode for an unobstructed viewfinder experience and a Surround View function to help anticipate moments as they enter the frame.
Pricing and Availability
The Fujifilm X-E5 became available on August 14, 2025, in all Fujifilm Authorized Stores. The body-only price is PHP 91,990 SRP, while the kit with an XF23mm F2.8 lens is priced at PHP 104,990. The XF 23mm F2.8 R WR lens will be available for purchase separately at a later date.
