XREAL AURA, the wired spatial computing glasses built on Google’s Android XR, is now open for pre-order starting at $1,279. XREAL began taking orders on October 8, but only from customers who already hold a paid reservation. Everyone else waits a few more weeks, when the company opens orders to the general public.

XREAL AURA Price and Pre-Order Details
The lineup comes in two configurations. The base model pairs 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage at $1,279, while the step-up doubles both to 16GB and 512GB at $1,499. Both come in two frame sizes, M for 60mm to 66mm pupils and L for 66mm to 72mm.

To hold a slot, buyers put down a $199 Priority Deposit. It is fully refundable and goes toward the final purchase at launch. The earlier Founder Priority Pass at $299 and the $99 Launch Credit tiers have already sold out. XREAL says the base model’s final retail price will not exceed $1,500 before tax.
Pre-orders at this stage cover the United States, Canada, Japan, and South Korea. XREAL has not announced Philippine pricing or a local release, so buyers here will have to wait for a regional launch. We’ll get our eyes peeled on Digital Walker’s website and social media channels for announcements as they are the official reseller of XREAL products in the Philippines.

Android XR and Gemini in a Pair of Glasses
AURA is not a wearable display that mirrors your phone. It runs a full Android XR platform, so it installs apps on its own. The heavy lifting happens in a pocket-sized compute puck powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Reality Elite platform, while an XREAL X1S coprocessor inside the glasses handles low-latency spatial display and sensor tracking. That split-compute design keeps the eyewear light, at under 95 grams, and moves the battery and heat into the puck.

Gemini is built in as the assistant. It reads what the camera sees, so you can ask about objects in front of you or move through the interface by voice. Each lens uses a Sony micro-OLED panel at 1920 x 1200 pixels and up to 120Hz, with a 70-degree see-through field of view and 6DoF spatial anchoring. Audio is tuned by Bose, with four microphones and five levels of electrochromic dimming for bright rooms or outdoor use.
Because it runs Android XR, AURA gets Google Maps, YouTube, Chrome, Gemini, and Photos on day one, alongside a growing catalog of apps built for XR.

Who Can Order and When It Ships
XREAL targets shipping before the holidays, with timing varying by market, configuration, and order sequence. The company says more details on the AURA experience are coming ahead of the official launch. The glasses follow XREAL’s CES 2026 lineup and the Snapdragon Reality Elite platform GP covered in June, both early steps in the Android XR push that Google and Qualcomm are banking on.
