Non-Smart subscribers can also switch to a Smart Prepaid eSIM for free by obtaining a Unique Subscriber Code from their current network provider and submitting the required documents, such as a valid ID, a screenshot of their current balance, and a signed application form, at a Smart Store.
By making eSIM accessible to all Filipinos, both prepaid and postpaid, Smart aims to provide a hassle-free experience for mobile users who wish to enjoy the benefits of using eSIM technology while avoiding the inconvenience of changing their numbers.
