Apple HomeView, a 7-inch smart home display powered by Apple Intelligence with Siri AI, was announced on October 13, 2026. It brings entertainment, connection, and home management together in one place, handling multiroom audio, FaceTime calls, home monitoring, and hands-free automations with voice control. It will be available beginning November 13 in the United States, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. Apple has not announced pricing or Philippine availability.
“HomeView brings people together around one shared experience, while recognizing each user and adapting to them privately,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing.
A screen that recognizes the people in the house

Apple HomeView recognizes up to six users by face, and each user gets a personalized Home Screen with their own apps and widgets. Personal content in Messages, FaceTime, Calendar, Reminders, and Find My stays private to each enrolled user, while shared photo albums and music are open to the whole household, including guests. The display ships with a set of faces that show information at a glance: a Photos face with Portrait-style depth effects, a Flow face that responds to movement and presence, and Snoopy animations that change with the time of day, weather, sporting events, and holidays.
Entertainment and household tools
Apple HomeView plays Apple Music with animated album art and lyrics, Apple Podcasts, Apple News, and Apple TV, and Handoff moves a song from an iPhone to the display when the phone is placed in front of it. Multiple HomeView, HomePod, HomePod mini, and AirPlay-compatible speakers can run multiroom audio together.

For communication, FaceTime and Center Stage keep participants framed, Messages can be read and replied to by voice or through the onscreen keyboard, and Intercom broadcasts to a single room or the whole house, including HomePod speakers and personal devices.

In the kitchen, HomeView converts web recipes into step-by-step instructions with hands-free timers and ingredient tracking. Find My tracks loved ones who have shared their locations, along with misplaced iPhones, AirPods charging cases, and items with an AirTag attached, and Live Activities surface what is playing, an active timer, or an incoming Intercom message.
With a supported iCloud+ subscription, Apple says HomeView works with compatible cameras for end-to-end encrypted recognition of people, familiar faces, pets, packages, and vehicles, with video descriptions for HomeKit Secure Video footage. It also detects the sound of smoke or carbon monoxide alarms and sends alerts to an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch.
Design, display, and audio

Apple HomeView has an aluminum body with a 7-inch Liquid Retina display, mounted to a domed speaker base by a stainless steel hinge that tilts for viewing on tabletops of any height. It comes in silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray, each with a color-matched USB-C cable, while the wall-mounted model comes in space gray and silver. Automatic brightness scales from 500 nits down to 0.3 nits, which Apple says is the lowest brightness it has engineered, making the display usable on a nightstand. Wall mounting uses three purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home, with self-installation or professional installation options.

The audio system uses two custom full-range drivers in the display for Spatial Audio, plus a down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators in the base, with computational audio tuning loudness and bass in real time. The wall-mounted version carries two custom drivers tuned for on-wall placement.
Privacy and security
Apple HomeView runs on the A18 chip with Secure Exclaves. Apple says the compartmentalized runtimes process camera and microphone data separately from the rest of the system. According to Apple, neither HomeView’s software, its apps, the user, nor Apple can access the data processed in those enclaves. Personal content in apps like Messages and Calendar appears only when the enrolled user’s face is recognized and their paired iPhone or iPad is present and recently unlocked. Apple says Siri requests can use on-device processing or Private Cloud Compute; when processed in Private Cloud Compute, data is not stored or made accessible to Apple or anyone else.
Apple HomeView: Availability and compatibility

Apple HomeView goes on sale November 13 in the United States, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. Apple says the device is not available for sale in the European Union because Siri AI is currently unavailable in iOS in the EU, and that it is working with the EU on a path forward.

It works with the new Apple Home Collection, a lineup of smart home cameras, thermostats, and a lock designed in collaboration with LG Electronics and Schneider Electric, as well as other Works with Apple Home and Matter accessories.
HomeView and the environment
Apple HomeView uses 100 percent recycled aluminum in the enclosure base and the wall-mount enclosure, 100 percent recycled gold plating and tin solder in all Apple-designed printed circuit boards, and 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in all magnets, part of its goal to be carbon neutral across its footprint by 2030.
