Samsung has announced the Galaxy M55 5G in Brazil. The device boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED Plus display, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, triple rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy M55 5G has a 6.7-inch AMOLED Plus display with a punch-hole design. The screen offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The phone runs on Android 14, which has a layer of One UI 6.1 on top.

The Galaxy M55 is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. The SoC is coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It offers connectivity features, such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB-C port.

The Galaxy M55 5G has a 50MP front camera, while the back hosts 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro lens. The device features dual speakers and has a polycarbonate build with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It measures 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 180 grams.

Pricing and Availability

The Galaxy M55 retails in Brazil for BZR 2,699 (or around PHP 30,400). It comes in two shades – Light Green and Dark Blue. The M55 is expected to be released in different markets, including India.
