According to GalaxyClub, Google and Samsung’s joint venture continues as the two companies work on the Google Tensor 3 SoC, which may power the Pixel 8 Lineup.
The same report mentions that the Exynos 1380 mid-range chip is currently in the pipeline.
Google Tensor 3
As of writing, there have been no details regarding the Tensor 3 except for the S5P9856 model number which comes with the codename “Ripcurrent”.
We can at least expect a significant improvement with the upcoming Tensor 3 SoC as Google has the freedom to mold this SoC to its needs to offer great capabilities like the Pixel 6’s impressive camera AI.
So for now, we can only wait for Google and Samsung’s updates about their new chipsets in the coming months.
