DEATH STRANDING ISOLATIONS Trailer Revealed with New Details Announced 

KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS shared the teaser for DEATH STRANDING ISOLATIONS and shared new details about the upcoming animated series.

This was showcased during the studio’s 10th anniversary celebration event: BEYOND THE STRAND: The Odyssey of Creation and Endeavor at Abzudai Hills Gallery, Tokyo.

DEATH STRANDING ISOLATIONS is set in the world of DEATH STRANDING but will tell a completely new story, separate from that in the video game. 

The series will follow a young man and woman as they set out on an adventure. It takes place immediately after Sam, the protagonist of the game, reconnects the continent through the Chiral Network. The renewed connections, while being able to connect America, have brought about new and unforeseen consequences. 

It has a traditional, hand-drawn 2D animation style, with some of Japan’s top animation talent at E&H Production working on the series. The studio has worked on NINJA KAMUI, BULLET/BULLET, Magic Knight Rayearth TV series, and more. 

Additionally, it is directed by Takayuki Sano, with the screenplay written by Tow Ubukata. 

DEATH STRANDING ISOLATIONS will stream on Disney+ or other Disney services exclusively in 2027. 

Meanwhile, the BEYOND THE STRAND: The Odyssey of Creation and Endeavor exhibit will be at Azabudai Hills Gallery, Tokyo, from October 31 to December 20. Visitors can explore never-before-seen production materials, a 10th Anniversary limited LUDENS statue, and a 360-degree immersive video installation created for the show.
