It has been speculated that Qualcomm is gearing up to introduce a new line of Snapdragon SoCs – Snapdragon 7. Now, Digital Chat Station revealed in a Weibo post that the upcoming chipset will feature 4x Cortex-A710 CPU cores and 4x Cortex-A510 CPU cores that will come with an Adreno 662 GPU.
Compared to the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the Snapdragon 7 has traded one of its Cortex-A710 cores in exchange for a Cortex-X2 core.

Following the company’s new branding scheme, we can assume this new chipset to be dubbed Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
As of now, there has been no other information regarding who’s going to manufacture the Snapdragon 7 SoC, although it is speculated to be based on TSMC’s 5mn or Samsung’s 4nm process.
