Right on schedule, vivo’s sub-brand, iQOO, announced its latest mid-range offering, the iQOO Z5, which boasts a number of notable upgrades from its predecessor.

iQOO Z5 has a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G backed by 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.

For optics, you get a 64MP Samsung GW3 sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro lens. At the front is a 16MP snapper tucked in a punch hole.

The Chinese variant runs Origin OS on top of Android 11, while international variants are expected to run Funtouch OS 12. It packs a 5,000mAh battery which is a good upgrade from the Z3’s 4,400mAh power pack, with support for 44W wired fast-charging.
