iQOO 7 Series Launched Globally with 120Hz AMOLED Displays and 66W FlashCharge

iQOO, vivo’s gaming sub-brand, has just unveiled the iQOO 7 series in the global market starting in India. The iQOO 7 series is comprised of the iQOO 7 and the iQOO 7 Legend.

The iQOO 7 Legend is more like the Chinese iQOO 7 with the Snapdragon 888 and 120Hz display, while the global iQOO 7 is closer to the iQOO Neo 5 with a Snapdragon 870 chipset instead.

The iQOO 7 Legend features a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 1300 nits peak brightness. A punch-hole display houses its 16MP front camera.

Around the back, it has a triple camera setup with a 48MP Sony IMX598 main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle snapper with a 2.5cm macro, and a 13MP portrait lens.

The Legend has a flagship-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 at the helm with 8/12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

It features a smaller 4000mAh battery with 66W FlashCharge support. It packs stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and surround sound, 4D Game Vibration with a Dual Linear Motor, and a 4096 sq. mm Vapor Chamber Liquid Cooling System.

The iQOO 7 shares the same display as its Legend sibling including the front-facing camera. Around the back, it has the same main and ultra-wide angle lens but switches out the 13MP portrait lens for a 2MP monochrome camera.

Under the hood, it has two chipsets – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and an Intelligent Display Chip. The latter assists the GPU of the former which is said to help lower temperature and the strain on the chipset. These are accompanied with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

If you need more RAM, it has an Extended RAM feature which uses some of the internal storage to give an additional 3GB RAM.

It draws power from a 4400mAh battery with 66W FlashCharge support. Like the Legend, the iQOO 7 features stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio, 4D Game Vibration, but has a 6000 sq. mm. Graphite Layer for full-coverage Liquid Cooling System.

The iQOO 7 is available in Storm Black and Solid Ice Blue colorways. The base 8/128GB configuration is priced at INR 31,990, while the 8/256GB goes for INR 33,990. The top spec-ed version at 12/256GB is available for INR 35,990.

The iQOO 7 Legend, on the other hand, is available in the sole BMW M Motorsport co-developed design. The 8/128GB variant is priced at INR 39,990, while the 12/256GB option is priced at INR 43,990.
