Casual MMORPG’s are once again on the rise, and unlike in the past, are now accessible to more people, especially with the existence of social media, and other new channels.
Now, ELITE brings to you Ragnarok Journey, a game that’s based on the popular MMO hit, Ragnarok Online. What’s different about this game is that it runs on a browser. All you need to play, is a stable system, and Internet connectivity.
The game does follow most of the mechanics from Ragnarok online. You create a character, and kill monsters or do quests to get equipment and level up. You also have a skill tree for each class.
Doing quests is quite easy on this game. All you have to do is click on a quest item, and the game will automatically move your character to the specific location, heck it even does the hunting for you.
While it’s not as visually appealing, I did find the game quite fun to play. There are lots of other players online, and it runs quite smoothly. There are also micro-transactions within the game, which I haven’t tried. Hopefully, the items sold there are plainly cosmetics, and aren’t game-breaking.
