ASUS has been aggressively unleashing their latest lineup of gaming laptops, peripherals and monitors. Just today at CES 2017 in Las Vegas Nevada, ASUS announced Swift PG27UQ. It’s their first 27-inch 4K UHD HDR gaming monitor that supports ultra-fast 144Hz refresh rate for smooth gaming visuals. It’s perfect for gamers who wish to get themselves deeper to their gameplay.

As it supports HDR, this can be paired up on desktop and even consoles, which support the said feature. The latest update rollout of Playstation 4, for instance, now supports TVs and monitors with HDR functionality. Whether or not this will be compatible with Swift PG27UQ remains to be determined.

The monitor is also short on display ports. It has 2 DisplayPort 1.4 and 1 HDMI port that supports 4K UHD content playback.

There is no word yet from ASUS Philippines about the price of the new ROG Swift, but we’ll definitely keep our ears stuck on their doors to know when and how much it will be once it comes officially to our country.
