Among the many things we look for in a smartphone is the battery life. Like it or not, despite the bevy of interesting applications smartphones have today, there are some of us who still go after the battery life. Case in point, Starmobile’s Jump Max offers – if not the best – a powerful battery that will leave those popular smartphones behind. We kid you not.

Starmobile Jump Max

We begin this review by commending Starmobile for coming up with such smartphone packed with fun features. Although Jump Max’s back design looks familiar – we’re looking at you, LG – it still differs with the type of plastic used in the casing. With its 4.5-inch IPS Multi-touch Capacitive Screen, one can be entertained from watching videos to playing games.

Moving on, the experience of using Jump Max has been worthwhile. It may sound too big for a gadget review, but we had the time of our lives upon using this. Besides its 5MP rear camera (with a VGA front camera), Jump Max boasts a 4GB internal storage as it runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with a 1.0Ghz Dual Core CPU.

Believe it or not, we were able to enjoy Jump Max for days with Wi-Fi connection as we delved into its features like the Health application among others. All you have to do is put a finger on the upper left side of the smartphone and let the Cardiograph read your heartbeat. Of course, visiting your doctor is still the best option. Kidding aside, we enjoyed running the following games/applications on Jump Max: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Cross Road, Dumb Ways To Die 2, and Rappler.

In addition to the praises we have for Jump Max is its user-friendliness. You may think that most smartphones today possesses this feature, but not all can be easily understood how it really works. As for Jump Max, you can swipe your finger to scan the variety of applications available for your every need.

We particularly like how Jump Max jumps along the bandwagon of the most practical smartphones in the country. Who wouldn’t want a convenient yet affordable gadget? Before we forget, this smartphone comes with free phone case, flip cover, and screen protector.

But among these nice traits, Starmobile’s Jump Max can be best described as having a big battery. With 3000mAh Li-ion battery, this smartphone can go up to three days with normal Internet usage. Really, if you’re a heavy data user, then Jump Max may be your next go-to gadget. At P3,690, you can get a hold of this affordable, big battery smartphone.
