Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), published by MOONTON Games, marked 10 years with Filipino players through a four-day flagship celebration at Market! Market! in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, from October 8 to 11. The activation ran as part of the global ALL IN MLBB anniversary campaign and brought together players, creators, cosplayers, esports personalities, and casual fans.

The four-day program ran tournaments, appearances by talents and creators, and community activities built around the anniversary, along with a performance paying tribute to the country’s dance traditions.

Players from the MLBB Professional League (MPL), Karl Gabriel “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno and Cyric “Kingkong” Perez, took part, along with MPL caster Caisam “Wolf” Nopueto, content creators Shaira and Fuego Gaming, and actress and cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa.

“Celebrating 10 years of MLBB feels incredibly special, especially here in the Philippines where the game has become such a huge part of our gaming culture. For me, MLBB has always been more than just a game—it’s a community that has brought so many Filipinos together, from casual players and content creators to fans of esports. I’m really grateful to have been part of that journey through the years as a streamer and cosplayer, and I’m excited to see where MLBB takes the Filipino gaming community next. Thank you, MLBB, for the many memories! To more decades of fun!” said Myrtle Sarrosa, Filipina actress and cosplayer.

How the game took root in the Philippines

The title began as a Southeast Asian release and now counts more than 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users across more than 80 countries, with an esports scene to match. In the Philippines, players use it to keep in touch with friends, build squads, follow esports, and collect shared memories.

The hero roster includes Lapu-Lapu and Paquito, the latter based on Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao, giving players characters they already recognize. Recent tie-ups with the SexBomb Girls and Jollibee have pulled local pop culture into the game.

“For 10 years, MLBB has grown with its players, and the Philippines has been an important part of that journey. This celebration is our thank-you to the Filipino community—for the passion, creativity, and connections they have brought to MLBB. As we look ahead, we want to continue creating experiences that give players new ways to connect, compete, and make memories together,” said Jay Wang, Head of Publishing, Philippines, at MOONTON Games.

The parade truck on Metro Manila roads

The 10th Anniversary Parade Truck traveled across key Metro Manila areas ahead of and alongside the Market! Market! activation. The truck transformed from day to night and served as a photo and check-in installation, with designated stops where fans joined anniversary activities, met featured talents and cosplayers, and created content with the wider community.
