TCL Labapalooza brought a free pop-up laundromat to communities in Tacloban and Cainta, giving residents a hands-on look at the brand’s smart washer-dryer series. Held in partnership with Robinsons Appliances, the activation let households drop off laundry for free while trying out the brand’s smart laundry technology firsthand.

TCL Labapalooza: more than a laundromat
Beyond the machines, the event featured interactive booths, karaoke, exclusive freebies, and treats from local food stalls, giving families more reasons to stay all day. The centerpiece was hands-on time with the all-new Smart Laundry Expert Washer-Dryer Series, which pairs heavy-duty laundry assistance with family-friendly activities. A live auction also let attendees bid for a TCL washer-dryer unit, giving residents a chance to bring home a smart appliance at a special value.
Donations for local communities
The activation also served as the brand’s way of giving back. The brand donated four high-efficiency washing machines to Tahanang Walang Hagdanan beneficiaries and One Cainta Sunset Retreat Home for the Elderly to support the organizations and the people they serve.
Now in its second year, Labapalooza reinforces the brand’s commitment to bringing smart home solutions directly to local communities, mixing product education, live entertainment, and value-driven engagement in one event. It also extends the brand’s laundry push that began with the earlier introduction of the Smart Washer-Dryer Series in the Philippines.
