DJI Mic Mini 2s and its very competitive price
DJI has introduced the DJI Mic Mini 2S, a compact wireless microphone system that brings onboard 24-bit and 32-bit float recording, AI noise reduction, and support for up to four transmitters into a more accessible creator-focused package. Philippine pricing starts at PHP5,700, while the complete two-transmitter kit retails for PHP9,990.
The Mic Mini 2S builds on DJI’s small-form-factor wireless microphone range but targets creators who need more flexibility than a basic one- or two-person kit. Each transmitter has approximately 14.5 GB of built-in storage for local backup recording, with DJI rating it for about 28 hours in 24-bit mode or 22 hours in 32-bit float.
32-bit float recording is the main upgrade. It gives editors more latitude to recover audio when a speaker suddenly gets loud or when a recording starts too quietly, reducing the risk of unusable takes in interviews, events, and run-and-gun shoots. The local recording also serves as a backup if the wireless connection is interrupted.
Built for expanding setups
The DJI Mic Mini 2S receiver can connect to as many as four transmitters simultaneously. It also supports mixed use with compatible DJI Mic Mini 2 and original DJI Mic Mini transmitters, allowing existing users to expand a setup without replacing every component.
That capability makes the system a better fit for multi-host podcasts, panel discussions, product-review shoots, and small production crews. The receiver supports mono, stereo, four-channel, and safety-track output modes, giving editors more options for separating speakers and retaining a lower-level backup track.
DJI also adds Basic and Strong AI noise-reduction modes. The transmitters support clip-on and magnetic mounting, and haptic feedback confirms recording status without requiring the user to look at the unit. DJI rates transmitter battery life at up to around 11 hours, receiver runtime at around 10 hours, and total operation with the charging case at up to 40 hours.

DJI is offering the Mic Mini 2S in several configurations, allowing buyers to choose based on whether they primarily work with cameras, smartphones, or a growing multi-person setup.

The 1TX + Mobile RX kit is aimed at smartphone-first creators who want a compact setup for short-form videos, livestreams, mobile interviews, and on-the-go coverage. Its USB-C receiver plugs directly into compatible phones, eliminating the need to bring the standard camera receiver for mobile-only work.
The PHP9,990 2TX kit is the more complete option for creators shooting with cameras or recording two speakers. It includes two transmitters and a standard receiver from the start, while retaining the option to add transmitters for larger setups later.
In China, DJI lists a 2TX charging-case package at CNY1,199, a 1TX bundle at CNY629, and a standalone transmitter at CNY399.
