Apple’s anticipated entry into the foldable smartphone market may set a new battery life record. Latest industry leaks suggest the rumored “iPhone Fold” will feature the largest battery ever seen in an iPhone, potentially reaching nearly 6,000mAh.

According to reports, the upcoming device aims to surpass the battery performance of the current iPhone 17 Pro Max. This is considered essential to support the device’s rumored dual-display setup, which reportedly includes a 7.58-inch flexible internal screen and a 5.4-inch external cover display.
The shift toward a larger battery reflects the significant power demands of high-refresh-rate foldable panels. By comparison, competitors like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold series have traditionally utilized smaller batteries to maintain a slim profile.
