Starting Today, January 20, motorists passing through NLEX will pay higher fees as the final tranche of a previously approved toll rate adjustment officially takes effect.
NLEX Toll Price Hike
The Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) authorized NLEX Corp. to implement the increase, which represents the second half of a periodic adjustment originally due in 2023. To mitigate the financial impact on the public, the regulator had previously deferred the hike and split it into two separate tranches.
Motorists using the “open system”, which spans Metro Manila to Marilao, Bulacan, will pay an additional PHP 6 for Class 1 vehicles (regular cars and SUVs), PHP 12 for Class 2 (buses and small trucks), and PHP 16 for Class 3 (large trucks and trailers).

For the “closed system” covering the stretch between Bocaue, Bulacan, and Sta. Ines, Mabalacat, as well as the Subic-Tipo road, the rate has increased by PHP 0.26 per kilometer.
Travelers traversing the full length of the expressway between Metro Manila and Mabalacat will see a total increase of PHP 24 for Class 1, PHP 60 for Class 2, and PHP 72 for Class 3 vehicles.
