Samsung unveiled the latest Samsung Sound Towers – the Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50F and Sound Tower MX-ST40F in the Philippines. During the interactive event, the company showcased the power of the new sound towers and featured OPM bands Over October and The Itchyworms.
“Music connects people in the most powerful way,” said Samsung Philippines Head of AV Business Chris Almazan. “The new Samsung Sound towers are designed to bring people together through vibrant sound and unforgettable experience – anyone can bring the party wherever they go.”
Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50F and Sound Tower MX-ST40F
The Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50F turns any place into a party with built-in wheels and a telescopic handle. It also features custom bass modes and adjustable lights that give you complete control over your audio experience.
The MX-ST50F also has a battery pack that keeps your music playing for up to 18 hours.
Meanwhile, the MX-ST40F features built-in special DJ sound effects and samplers for up to 12 hours, allowing you to inject your own flavor into your favorite tracks. If you’re looking to start a jam session, the speaker also allows you to plug in a microphone or a guitar. Additionally, it has a Group Play feature that supports linking up to 10 sound towers for an even more immersive listening experience.
With the Samsung Sound Tower App, you can customize audio settings or access Karaoke Mode.
During the launch event, attendees witnessed the new sound towers with music producer DJ Hoest. Over October and The Itchyworms also showcased how the new sound towers enhance live music. The Itchyworms also teased their upcoming episode of Samsung Sound Sessions, which will premiere on Samsung’s official Facebook, X, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram pages this December.

The Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST50F is priced at PHP 28,999, while the Sound Tower MX-ST40F is offered at PHP 18,999. You can enjoy up to PHP 2,117 off and get a free microphone until December 31, 2025.
