Huawei has just revealed that the HUAWEI Pura 80 series will debut in the global market on July 10 kin a launch event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
HUAWEI Pura 80 Series Global Launch Date
The HUAWEI Pura 80 series is comprised of the Pura 80, 80 Pro, 80 Pro+, and Pura 80 Ultra. However, the company didn’t explicitly mention which devices will be introduced next month. What is certain, though, is that the Pura 80 Ultra is among those, as it is the device featured in the announcement poster.
The Pura 80 Ultra introduced in China was powered by a Kirin 9020 chipset and boasted a unique switchable telephoto lens mechanism with a 50MP 1/1.2-inch periscope telephoto sensor that allows you to swap between 3.7x zoom and 9.4x zoom lenses. It also has a 1-inch RYYB 50MP main snapper with a variable f/1.6-f/4.0 aperture and OIS.
The mechanism also explains the enormous camera island, which seems to take up the top third of the back panel.
We expect the company to reveal more about the global variants of the HUAWEI Pura 80 series the closer we get to the July 10 launch event. There’s plenty of time as well, with around two weeks to go until the launch.
