HONOR may be gearing up to release its next-generation devices – HONOR Magic6 series reported to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The series is also said to feature a 160MP periscope zoom camera instead of a 200MP one, according to Digital Chat Station on Weibo.
HONOR Magic6 Series Alleged Optics
According to the report, the Magic6 series’ primary camera will feature an OV50K sensor, a 1/1.3-inch size sensor, similar to the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 200MP primary sensor. The sensor is expected to produce sharp images using LOFIC technology, a stacked sensor similar to the OnePlus Open and Xperia 1 V.
However, as of writing this, no more additional information on the Magic6 series was given. HONOR is believed to unveil its latest flagship series in China soon, with a global launch expected in a couple of months.
