In an exclusive interview with Forbes, Nothing CEO and Founder Carl Pei shared new details on the upcoming Nothing Ear (2).
Nothing Ear (2) Details
Pei confirmed that the new TWS from the company will support LHDC 5.0 (Low Latency HD Audio Codec). It is an audio codec that streams higher-quality audio over Bluetooth. He also mentioned that he has contacted Spotify to update their library to LHDC.
The Ear (2) will also have an IP54 rating, making it resistant to dust particles and water splashes. This is an upgrade from the Ear (1) which just had an IPX4 rating.
The company will be introducing the Ear (2) on March 22, so we doubt this is the last teaser we get on the new TWS earbuds.
