Vision Express Philippines has teased that Ray-Ban AI glasses are coming to its stores, billing the arrival as a first for the country. The company has not published a release date, a price, or a list of participating branches.
The announcement went up on the retailer’s Facebook page and reads, in full: “First in the Philippines. Ray-Ban AI glasses are coming soon at Vision Express. Be among the first to experience it.”

What Vision Express has not said about Ray-Ban AI glasses
The post is a teaser and nothing more, which leaves the practical questions open. There is no start date, no Philippine pricing, and no indication of which of the company’s branches will carry the glasses or offer demos. The phrase “be among the first to experience it” suggests an early access or demo arrangement rather than a same-day sale, but the post does not describe one.
Nothing has appeared on the Vision Express Philippines website either. A check of the site found no product page, no AI glasses collection, and no waitlist or holding page for the range, so the tease currently lives only on social media.

This is not the first time. In May 2026 the same page posted that Ray-Ban AI glasses were coming, then pulled both the post and an accompanying waitlist microsite, apparently having gone live ahead of schedule. This attempt is still up.
The Philippines was already on Meta’s list
The retail tease follows confirmation that the country is getting the glasses at all. At Meta Connect in September, Meta and EssilorLuxottica named the Philippines as one of ten markets in their next wave of AI glasses, alongside Poland, Portugal, Israel, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Malaysia. That announcement carried no date and no local pricing either, as we reported at the time.

The lineup covered by that expansion is the one shown at the event. Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3) arrives in 27 color and lens combinations across Aviator, Zena, and Wayfarer, with up to nine hours of battery and a six-microphone array that Meta says removes more than 90 percent of background noise. Ray-Ban Meta Audio is the camera-free pair, weighing as little as 43 grams in Clubmaster and Burbank styles and compatible with a range of prescriptions. The Meta Glasses line adds Capri and Nova, plus new models made with LISA.
Two features stay in the United States
Buyers here should temper expectations on the software. Muse, the personal AI agent Meta is bringing to its glasses, and Hearing Enhancement are both listed as United States only, so the units that reach Philippine shelves will not carry the complete feature set announced on stage.
Why the retailer matters
Vision Express is the largest premium optical chain in the country, with more than 80 branches nationwide. That matters for a product that has to be fitted rather than simply unboxed, since the Ray-Ban Meta frames take prescription lenses and need adjustment to sit correctly.

It also matters because the Philippines has been a grey-market country for AI glasses since launch, with buyers relying on importers and marketplace resellers. An authorized channel would bring local warranty and consumer protection to a category that has had neither. Vision Express has not said when that starts, and we will update this story when it does.
