Meta and EssilorLuxottica have confirmed that the Philippines is among the next markets for their AI glasses, revealed at Meta Connect 2026. The joint announcement places the country in a ten-market expansion covering Ray-Ban Meta Philippines and the Meta Glasses line, though neither a date nor local pricing has been published.

In the release, EssilorLuxottica said it is “bringing the already loved portfolio of AI glasses to more consumers, expanding in the coming months” across Poland, Portugal, Israel, South Africa, Indonesia, Thailand, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
That makes the Philippines one of ten markets in the group’s next wave. The company did not attach a specific window to any individual country, and no Philippine pricing has been announced.
What the Philippines Is Getting
The expansion covers the portfolio shown at the two-day event in September:
- Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 3): the slimmer third generation, in 27 colour and lens combinations across Aviator, Zena and Wayfarer, with up to nine hours of battery and a six-microphone array that Meta says cuts more than 90 percent of background noise.
- Ray-Ban Meta Audio: the first camera-free pair in the line, weighing as little as 43 grams, in Clubmaster and Burbank styles and compatible with a range of optical prescriptions.
- Meta Glasses: the Meta-branded collection, adding Capri and Nova, plus new models made with LISA.

Ray-Ban Meta Philippines: The Fine Print for Buyers
Two of the headline software features remain United States only. Muse, the personal AI agent Meta is bringing to its glasses, and Hearing Enhancement are both listed as US-only, so the glasses arriving here will not ship with the full feature set announced on stage.
Meta and EssilorLuxottica also said the two companies will offer more than 100 styles across Ray-Ban, Oakley and Meta Glasses by the end of the year, with prices announced closer to each market’s rollout.
Why This Matters
The Philippines has been a grey-market market for AI glasses since launch, with buyers relying on importers and marketplace resellers rather than official channels. An authorised rollout would bring local warranty and consumer protection, and it follows the group’s June introduction of the Meta-branded line.

Francesco Milleri, Chairman and CEO of EssilorLuxottica, said the companies’ “ability to anticipate and deliver on consumer needs and desires will grow even stronger.” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the products “bring new options for everyone.”
