OnePlus will be unveiling the OnePlus 16 in China on October 12. Ahead of the launch event, the company confirmed more of its features. These are the largest battery on a OnePlus flagship and the display.
OnePlus 16 – Battery and Display
The company has confirmed that it will boast a 9000mAh Glacier Battery coupled with OPPO’s Glacier Battery Power Chip.
These are said to offer longer endurance than other batteries, including stable performance at low charge levels and battery health for up to five years. It was previously spotted via a 3C certification that the device will also support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 16 will also use a fourth-generation BOE Oriental screen with a custom X4 Luminescent material. The display will also have a system-wide 165WHz refresh rate, and with supported games, it goes as high as 185Hz.
The device will also have an updated P4 display processor and Ultra-Dynamic Clarity Technology. The upcoming flagship is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset.
