OnePlus has revealed the camera specifications of its next flagship device – the OnePlus 16 shortly after its design and colors were revealed.
OnePlus 16 – Camera Details
The OnePlus 16 will feature a 200MP main sensor with a 1/1.4-inch size and f/1.6 aperture. This is joined by two 50MP lenses: one ultrawide sensor with a 116-degree field of view and a Sony IMX882 3x periscope telephoto snapper that handles up to 6x lossless zoom. Rounding out the optics is a 50MP front snapper.
The device will also utilize OPPO’s Lumo imaging engine.
Other Confirmed Specs
The next-generation OnePlus flagship device is also confirmed to support a 165Hz refresh rate system-wide. Additionally, the company revealed that the flagship device will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.
The device will have a similar design to its predecessor, with a squircle camera module on the upper left side of the back panel. One unique thing about the OnePlus 16, though, is the grey colorway, which has a unique pattern around the back as well as LEDs toward the bottom of the device. It is joined by black and light orange color options.
The OnePlus 16 will initially debut in China, and we expect a later launch for the device in international markets.
