Moderno Home Depot has launched the MHD-4500 AI Smart Toilet in the Philippines, introduced as the country’s first app-controlled smart toilet. The unit is priced at ₱48,999 and is sold at Moderno Home Depot showrooms and through the brand’s official website.
Smart control through the Moderno Smart Home app
The MHD-4500 connects to a smartphone through the Moderno Smart Home app, available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Users pair the unit over Bluetooth and open its smart features from the phone. Voice control and a remote control give homeowners other ways to operate the toilet during daily use.
“As the Philippines’ fastest-growing smart toilet brand, Moderno Home Depot believes that innovation should make everyday living more convenient and comfortable. The MHD-4500 reflects our commitment to bringing smart technology into practical home solutions, giving Filipino homeowners more opportunities to experience the benefits of a connected home,” said Rovie Sanchez, co-owner of Moderno Home Depot.
Hygiene features
Hygiene and comfort are central to the design. The unit carries a self-cleaning nozzle, front and rear wash functions, bidet and hip wash options, adjustable nozzle positioning, and UV sterilization.
Comfort and wellness features
A heated seat, adjustable water temperature, and an adjustable drying system are built in. Multiple massage modes cover strong-soft and moving massage functions. The unit also adds built-in aromatherapy, dynamic lighting, and a soft night light, along with automatic lid opening and closing and a slow-closing seat ring.
Design and build
The toilet has an elongated design in premium ceramic, with an LED display and integrated controls. The result is a modern look that matches its smart functions.
Flushing and safety
The toilet uses a siphon-jet flushing system with automatic and manual flushing options and a foot-sensor flush function. A built-in water tank and booster pump support the flushing system, and the unit also includes leakage protection and power-outage flushing.
“Creating a comfortable home goes beyond choosing beautiful fixtures. It is also about finding solutions that make everyday routines easier and more personal. With the MHD-4500, we want to encourage homeowners to look at the bathroom in a new way and discover how technology can bring added comfort and convenience to their daily lives,” said Jean Sanchez, co-owner of Moderno Home Depot.
