HUAWEI Mate 90 Introduced with 6600mAh Battery and Kirin 9030

Huawei introduced members of the HUAWEI Mate 90 series, including the HUAWEI Mate 90 Pro Max and the base HUAWEI Mate 90 variant.

The base variant features a triple rear camera setup, a 6600mAh battery, and the Kirin 9030 chipset.

HUAWEI Mate 90

The HUAWEI Mate 90 is built around a 6.75-inch FHD+ LTPO OLED panel with up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by third-generation Kunlun Glass and uses Huawei’s Xuanwu-style construction.

Around the back is a 50MP RYYB 1/1.56-inch main sensor with a f/1.4-f/4.0 variable aperture, a 50MP 4x RYYB telephoto lens with up to 8x optical-quality zoom, and a 40MP RYYB ultrawide snapper with a f/2.2 aperture. There’s also a third-generation Red Maple primary-color camera that helps with color accuracy.

Additionally, the camera system has the company’s own XMAGE system with the XMAGE assistant that can suggest shooting options.

The HUAWEI Mate 90 supports 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging, which helps top up the aforementioned 6600mAh battery. Additionally, it features multi-device network sharing, BeiDou satellite messaging, HarmonyOS 7, and a Mobile Security Processor.

Pricing and Availability

The HUAWEI Mate 90 is offered in China in four colors: Obsidian Black, Zero White, Crystal Green, and Crystal Pink. It has three configurations, and these are priced at:

• 12GB+256GB – CNY 5,999 (around PHP 5,999)
• 12GB+512GB – CNY 6,999 (around PHP 65,700)
• 12GB+1TB – CNY 8,499 (around PHP 79,800)

 Its global availability and pricing have yet to be announced, though.
