Xiaomi is set to unveil the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max later this month. Xiaomi has officially teased the release, expanding a flagship platform now confirmed to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro SoC.
What the Xiaomi 18 Pro delivers
Spotted in the Geekbench 7 database under the new model number M154FF, the prototype device showcases what the new hardware takes on. It managed a single-core score of 2,871 and a multi-core score of 8,836. While unfinished hardware means these numbers should not be taken as final, the listing confirms the chipset’s CPU will reach up to 5.01GHz.

Specifications and setup
The benchmarked prototype features 16GB of RAM, though users can expect more memory options at launch. Setup is eased by the inclusion of HyperOS 4 out of the box, which is based on Android 17. Additionally, previous certifications reveal both Pro models are optimised for 100W wired charging.

Why it matters for smartphone buyers
For anyone shopping for a high-end device that is looking for a next-generation flagship that is promising clock speeds past 5GHz, paired with ultra-fast charging. Pricing and local availability were not part of the report, so stay tuned for more updates.
