The Taipei Computer Association (TCA) is bringing six Taiwanese indie teams to Tokyo Game Show 2026, with the whole lineup sharing a single booth in the show’s Indie Game Area. The six Taiwanese indie games will be shown at Booth 09-C33 in Hall 9, from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

DA2 Creative is showing Seeker Tactics, Safe Flight Games brings Beastfolk Barber, and 25 Monkey Games presents The Immolation Apartment. Let’s Play a Game Studio joins with Hot Stuff, followed by Mugio’s Moments and QPZM’s Mixervivor.

TCA says the teams will use the show to put their work in front of players and industry professionals from around the world, and to look for international business collaborations. The association arranges the exhibition through The Program of Innovative Application in Digital Content Industry’s Development, a project commissioned by the Administration for Digital Industries under Taiwan’s Ministry of Digital Affairs.

What the program has built so far

Since 2020, the Administration for Digital Industries has run the Indie Game Development Incentive and Value-Added Program. TCA says the program has supported 56 game companies to date and helped 18 titles reach commercial release, with the aim of pushing Taiwanese indie games from concept to product to market.

Award-winning teams from that program feature in Taiwan Game Developers Highlights 2026, a publication TCA compiled and will distribute during the show. The association says local developers have kept a wide spread of subject matter, art styles and gameplay, and have increasingly taken their games to overseas exhibitions to meet players, publishers and industry partners.

Taipei Game Show 2027 gets a booth on the same floor

TCA also organises Taipei Game Show, which runs from January 21 to 24, 2027, and its organising team will promote it at Tokyo Game Show from Booth 04-C09 in Hall 4. Developers, publishers and industry professionals are invited to visit the booth and look for collaborations across the Asian game market.

TCA says Tokyo Game Show gives Taiwanese indie games a read on how they land with overseas players, and a place to build visibility and find new partners. Gadget Pilipinas is covering the show from the floor, with updates in our Tokyo Game Show 2026 liveblog, and the five-day format continues through September 21. Details are also on the official Tokyo Game Show site and the Taipei Computer Association page.
