It works on moments like a child’s recital, a friend on the dance floor, or a play during a sporting event, turning them into social-ready clips.
Now Brief adds Generative and Editable Cards that let users choose what shows up in their daily summaries, including cards for health, weather, and video content. Warranty and Care, meanwhile, moves device support into the Settings menu, letting users check coverage across connected devices, run self-diagnostics, view repair estimates, and manage Samsung Care+ or book a service appointment in a few taps.
Doing More With Less Effort
One UI 9 also trims down everyday tasks with context-aware suggestions and updates to translation, scanning, and recording. Now Nudge surfaces timely suggestions across more parts of the Galaxy experience. For example, users making plans over text can pull up reservation details or save a shared location without leaving the conversation. Creative Studio suggests image-generation ideas tied to upcoming events, such as prompting a themed greeting ahead of a friend’s birthday.
Interpreter now has a Thread View that lets users reference earlier exchanges in a translated conversation. Faster translation in Conversation Mode and quicker playback through compatible Galaxy Buds also cut down on delays. Document Scan can now digitize curved book pages and corner-folded papers with less manual adjustment, helped by an improved Finger Eraser and large-screen-optimized views on compatible devices. Voice Recorder summaries are easier to scan as well, now using headings and tables to organize key details.

Security Brief adds alerts for malware, apps from unknown sources, and unnecessary permissions directly to Now Brief, helping users spot issues early. Privacy Alerts uses on-device AI to flag unnecessary background attempts to access permissions.
