HONOR Philippines is making its devices work as one setup instead of separate gadgets with HONOR Connect, an ecosystem feature that links compatible HONOR smartphones, tablets, wearables and audio devices so users can move between them without starting over on each screen.
HONOR Connect covers connected notifications and calls, screen sharing, connected apps, network sharing, connected camera and content transfers. Depending on the compatible devices and software versions in a setup, it lets users share files, access information and continue selected activities across displays.
“As consumers use more devices in their everyday lives, we believe the experience should become simpler, not more complicated,” said Stephen Cheng, Vice President of HONOR Philippines. “HONOR Connect brings our devices together so users can choose the right device for what they need to do while staying connected across work, wellness, and entertainment. We want our technology to work naturally around the user.”
One ecosystem, different roles
Each device keeps its own job. The HONOR Magic V6 carries the foldable, multitasking side of the day with its inner display, then extends that work to compatible HONOR hardware. The HONOR MagicPad4 answers the moments that need a bigger canvas, whether that is a document, a second app window or a longer viewing session.
The HONOR Watch 6 keeps key information within reach for users who are moving around, while the HONOR Earbuds 4 handle calls, music and entertainment. We took a closer look at the HONOR Watch 6 when it arrived in the Philippines, including its sports modes and battery life.
Designed around how people use their devices
Together, the lineup shows what an ecosystem looks like when not every product has to do the same thing. A user can check updates on the Watch 6, answer messages and clear tasks on the Magic V6, move to the MagicPad4 when a task needs more room, and reach for the Earbuds 4 for a call or a show. The feature is the layer that keeps those handoffs from turning into manual work.
How HONOR Connect handles cross-brand transfers
The feature also supports selected cross-brand scenarios. Compatible HONOR smartphones and tablets can transfer content with iPhone and iPad devices, Mac computers and supported devices from other brands. Availability and supported functions vary by device, operating system and software version, so what a setup can do depends on what is paired together.
