CAD renders of the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra have leaked, offering a detailed look at the flagship’s new design. Provided by OnLeaks via Android Headlines, the images suggest that while the device retains much of the familiar aesthetic of its predecessor, it introduces a significant overhaul to its camera array.

This time, Samsung appears to favor a top-mounted “camera plateau.” This design choice seems to aim to provide the necessary space for larger sensors, improved cooling, and better magnetic charging support.

The dimensions suggest a slightly larger footprint at roughly 163.76 x 78.25 x 7.97mm, with the new camera bump increasing the top thickness to 12.53mm. This extra space points to camera upgrades: the Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to skip the 10MP 3x telephoto lens in favor of a three-camera setup. This will reportedly include an ISOCELL HIP6 main sensor, a 50MP Sony ultrawide lens, and a 50MP 5x telephoto camera.

Under the hood, the device will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme (or Samsung’s Exynos 2700 in some markets), alongside a massive 5,700 mAh Silicon-Carbon battery. Fans will also be relieved to know that the iconic S Pen and its dedicated housing slot will remain.

Rumors indicate a potential USD 100 price hike, bringing the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s starting price to USD 1,399. Tech enthusiasts can expect an official announcement around February 2027, just ahead of Mobile World Congress.
